AIO is in an alliance with Afri EXPO – It all comes down to trade & investments. AfriExpo exists as a one stop platform to connect businesses in Africa to businesses in the United States. AfriExpo is a prominent trade expo and business summit. It is a B2B focused platform with an annually held event in Houston, TX that encourages diaspora engagements in Africa well beyond conversations.
The event serves as a platform to connect international trade partners, investors, small-to-medium size companies (SMEs), corporations, regulating bodies, and industry professionals.
Dubbed “TEMAH”, the event has in focus, these five economic sectors: Technology, Energy, Manufacturing, Agriculture and Healthcare.

AIO was founded with the goal of Increasing exposure of the business community in Africa to that of the United States and vice versa.
One way, we achieve this is through the participation & organization of trade missions. These missions tend to be very beneficial for US based companies that are looking for newer markets for their goods & services in East Africa, particularly economic power that exist in Nairobi Kenya. On the flip side, we have built strategic partnerships with companies, governments, agencies, and officials that are prepared to do business with delegate leaders of AIO.
Additionally, during our business expedition we participate in trade expos, conferences and business forums, department tours and arranged delegate meetings, dinners and receptions to learn more about the business climate and culture.
