Day 1 to Day 2: Arrival - Your journey begins with arrival into Nairobi, East Africa’s commercial hub. After check-in and time to adjust, delegates engage in a light-touch orientation and strategy session with the local AIO team—setting the tone for a focused, high-impact week.
Day 3 to 6: Meetings
Infrastructure & Logistics Engagements - Dive into Kenya’s infrastructure and logistics landscape through curated meetings with aviation, roads, and mobility stakeholders. Includes a featured visit with Hello Tractor, showcasing agri-logistics innovation. The day concludes with a private welcome dinner to connect delegates and partners.
Real Estate, Energy & Investment Ecosystem - Explore large-scale development opportunities with a guided real estate tour (including Tatu City), followed by strategic discussions with energy leaders and investment stakeholders. Close the day with a curated Law & Finance networking session.

Visa: You will need a visa to visit Kenya. Once you have required documentation you may follow this link https://etakenya.go.ke/
Dress code: Nairobi is a business casual city. Business for meetings and a light jacket for evenings. Since most of Kenya is on the equator, expect temperatures between low 60s at night, high 70s/low 80s in the city and the Mara and high 80s at the coast.
Vaccinations: We recommend taking anti-malarials which can be obtained from your PCP or as soon as you land in Kenya. You do not need Yellow fever vaccination for Kenya.
Health Insurance: US insurance policies are typically not valid internationally. We strongly recommend obtaining coverage including medical evacuation. All major airlines and insurance companies such Allianz (https://www.allianztravelinsurance.com/) offer trip coverage. AIO can also help you purchase insurance
Cell Phone: Most major us cell phone service (AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon will work in normally Kenya. Most will charge a $12 daily international roaming rate topping out at $100 per month.
Will I need to exchange money before arriving in Kenya
American Express, Master Card and Visa are widely accepted at major retailers and restaurants in Kenya. You will also be able to use MPESA the local digital currency which is the primary way that people pay for goods and services in Kenya. To use MPESA you will need to download the Sendwave app on your Apple or Android phone. For smaller retailer you can obtain Kenyan Shilling from ATMs at the airport or at banks upon arrival.
